Sri Mathie was completely renovated in 2004/5. The old part of the house was restored with loving care to its early 1900s roots, and equipped with period light fittings and antiques.
A large mango tree welcomes you at the entrance. A wrap-around porch provides the ideal location to view more than 20 species of indigenous birds (more during periods of migration). The fragrance of jasmine and temple tree flowers fill the air throughout the year.
An inner court yard with three bedrooms and new facilities were also added.
Sri Mathie features four large bedrooms, and a separate bungalow, can accommodate up to five couples. Bookings are for the entire house only. although individual room bookings are possible if the villa is not let. Occupancy is limited to 08 people.
